The Best Multi-Tool in the World 2011 Edition
on: January 04, 2012, 09:38:38 PM
Ok, I have lightheartedly supported DaveK's notion that a certain Multi-tool is the best in the world so now let's vote.  If I have missed and obvious contender let me know and I will see if I can at that tool.  But the criteria is that the tool is readily available to the MultiTool.org members so none of Evil's (or anyone elses) mods, no Prototype tools (Rebar), still available in decent quantity (no Multitasker).  I have add the top of the line in each family so a Vote for the Gerber MT600 covers all the series regardless of finish or plier head.

Voting ends Jan. 9th.

I added the Super 300 I knew I was forgetting something.  I also added the Blast.

I am only thinking of full sized available tools.  The Sideclip is one of my favorites as is the Pulse but sadly they are retired.

Plier based tools only...

I also listed the top of the line in each family since the Charge is really part of the Wave family...but so is the Surge which is just a Supersized Wave really.  The same holds true for the Blacktip but they seem to have their own following.

So vote for the top of the line tool in each family...a vote for the Spirit includes the Road Tour and all the Spirit Variations the same for the SwissTool.

The Wave and Charge TTi share the same family so a vote for the Charge TTi is a vote for a Wave.

Unfortunately, this is like most non-Chicago elections one person one vote.

Sorry, full sized tools only.

Even if the Charge TTi is not the *best* multitool in the world, it's certainly proving the most popular. Popular is good, especially if the product is good. If it were utter rubbish and it was popular, than we'd have reason to complain :)

How about Ganzo multitools?   ???

I am sure their worlwide total sales, for all brands they make, are way more than any of the other listed multitools.   :pok:
