I have never seen that before. I had to wiki it too. What a cool way to start a fire! I carry a magnesium/ferro block in my BOB and a firesteel in my EDC bag, but after seeing this I may add one of these to my setup.

Im a hardcore survivalist at heart and have alot of gear, but never did get a fire piston. I tried making one with lexan tube once(thought it would be cool to see the plug glow) but that project didnt work out so good. 35 bucks is a fair price so I'm in.
I really like the multiple fire options. Plus, the package is very attractive.
