There's gotta be an EMT on this forum, if not dozens.

Don't worry about making suggestions. This is just a prototype and not everything is refined.

HOWEVER, I am going to incorporate the new 5 pocket design (Penta Pocket option) into my regular SkinthXL Sheaths, that will greatly increase the carry options for pry bars, pens or whatever.

Not in the trade , but most of the ones in Ont. wear black tackle . Interesting concept , one issue i can see is the troops forgetting to reload the glove section and prefering a seperate glove pouch . Fire fighters , lifeguards , ski patrolers might be a lot more interested in bright colored stuff .

Talk to McGoo7 , he shows up her from time to time , he's a fire fighter .

Yah, I was going to make a black one today.

As for the glove compartment, I imagine it would be an emergency pair, in case they ran out or if all they had was this pouch. It's not a complete solution but it's close.

I'll see if I can incorporate some kind of rescue hook pouch some where.

If it were me , I'd put put a fastex buckle on the main flap . Good quality Nylon , and thread lasts a long time , velcro seems to go first . An HK clip on the thing would be a good idea . While I was in the Emerge. a while back , I observed EMT's tucking/stashing/hanging keys all over the place .

Generally , I think it's a great idea , you are on to something if you can produce for a reasonable cost .

OK, I'm an RN, but do some pre-hospital care/event medicine volunteer work too, so here's my input.
I very much like the design, looks good and well thought out. Personally I'd like a strap to hold the shears in unless it's a really good friction fit, and I'd like to see it in black.

Thanks so much! I have gotten some feedback from other medics. This not a replacement by any means but it is somewhat of an emergency grab bag  type idea. I am going to talk to some family who are also RNs and I'll get one making MKII in black.
