I'm a big fan of one-hand operated blade, I have a juice cs4 and I have been wanting to mod it to open blade one-handed. Was thinking about metal epoxying a metal stud but are there any more elegant suggestion in doing it thanks.

Hawkchucker has been working on one-handing a Juice, with plans to drill a hole through the blade for a thumb stud. Only hold up has been the blade itself, which has resisted attempts to drill it with ordinary bits. We are hoping carbide drills will do the trick. :-\

Thanks gona read the thread and get back to you. I have thought of drilling a hole also but worried might damage the blade.

As long as you don't do it to fast, and don't let the blade get too warm it should be fine :)
Give in, buy several Farmer's!!!!!!

Slow and steady is the key unfortunatly I have wasted about a dozen bits trying to get through a Juice, and have only scratched the surface. I will most likely be able to fix this soon by using Bobs alien drill bits. They are made of super alien tech.

Read the other thread, they are right putting the stud on the nail slot will hinder cutting through things and making another slot on the base well don't have the tools here. might grind the nail opener on the blade to make it wider and deeper.

Yah read the thread. I had to "mill out " the handle very close to the blade end. I am just woundering how much thumb pressure it will take to break the blade out?

i think i have few alien bits too in 3,5mm diameter, with proper speed and relatively light pressure put on them,i managed to make holes easily into vic´s tools during modding one.theyre some hi-carbide ones i think.every freak should have few in various sizes
