Depends on what you mean by full size.  The biggest size are on the 91 mm saks.  The 84mm saks have the same style of scissors but are smaller.

Yeah, I consider full-sized scissors to be those on the 91mm frame, so that'd make the Compact the smallest/thinnest. :tu:

So were talking the Climber in 84mm, and the Compact in 91mm, right?

84mm Golfer ... good luck tracking one of those down.
The 91mm Compact is a current model however  :tu:

Ya I snagged 2 84mm golfers for cheap on ebay cuz the seller listed them wrong.. but that was just dumb luck for me.

91mm compacts are great little knives, love them.

Slimmest 84mm was the Voyageur: http://www.sakwiki.com/tiki-index.php?page=Voyageur  but good luck getting one of them, as apparently they are as common as rocking horse poo. :-\
Close second would be a Golfer: http://www.sakwiki.com/tiki-index.php?page=Golfer+84mm

Going up to 91mm and you have the choice of either the Compact: http://www.sakwiki.com/tiki-index.php?page=Compact
Or the UK's DofE: http://www.sakwiki.com/tiki-index.php?page=DofE+Pocket+Tool

You won't be disappointed as long as you like minimalism.  :salute: This SAK has more features in the slimmest SAK package. My next favorite is the Yeoman!  :tu:

I still like the custom Sportsman Plus, which actually edged out the Compact by one or two tools in the same thickness, but shorter overall length. ;) :D

I'm getting ready to make a 84mm with scissors, saw, blade and combo tool.
If I remember correctly, wait, what was I saying?

We probably forgot to mention a more rare model which is an Accountant type knife with 2 blades, wide long nail file and scissors. I do not have one to show here but there are others here that do. As I mentioned though these are rare and very hard to find for sale.

Yes, and those are beautiful. Tattoosteve99 probably remembers a very nice cellidor one ;)

Technically those SAKs don't qualify since we were talking about full sized scissors and I guess the Accountant's scissors are a little bit smaler than those on 91mm models

While smaller than 91mm models, I do believe the knife has an 84mm frame and there fore would have the 84mm scissors. Since I do not have one in my possession to check I may be wrong.

Now where is the thread with the photos of this knife.

OK, here it is, the 84mm SS with scissors and wide long file I was thinking about.

I think the Compact will be just right to complement a Wave. Looking at it, there is very little redundancy, and I'll get the advantage of better scissors, and a combo tool that is more cap lifter than can opener, which is pretty much the opposite of the Wave (although, after watching some videos of it in use, it seems a decent can opener).

Well, I got my Compact, and I must say that it is a very nice tool :tu:

As a matter of fact, it seems to be the perfect companion to the Super Tool 300.

I'm going to take some pictures of the set together, and post some thoughts on this interracial couple in the General forum this weekend.

Thanks for the advice everyone  :salute:
