NECRO!!!  :ahhh :ahhh

Did any of these supposed new releases ever make it onto the market? It did cross my mind that the decision and announcement to market these was followed not long after by the announcement of bringing everything under Victorinox's direct management  Did Mr Elsener not like the direction they were going?

I don't think I've ever heard any more about them.  As I said at the time I rather like them, not cheap I grant you, but still interesting.  Al made the point, and I totally agree, that these should definitely be seen as jewellery first and tools second.  Lots of people will spend lots more than $60 on a piece of jewellery, so the fact these have some additional 'features' should be seen as a bonus IMO.

You never know, we might just see these being sold at some point, just with a Victorinox shield on them. ;)

I'd probably use those in paracord creations ;)

The first one sure looks interesting to me, and if they could stuff in a whistle....

Nonetheless, as Captain said, I too do hope Victorinox will pick it up where it's been left off.

They are interesting, i got some info before that they got retired or that the maker could not deliver on time.
Not sure now if they got produced in more numbers?
