The price might be a little high, but I like these.  I really like the existing Evowood scales.

I really like the clippers.

As a person that does a lot of fishing, those clippers are perfect for my knots and tags from the knots.

Yeah while I like these the price is a killer. Local store has a 2 (3?) layer for over $50, when the plastic model is half the price it's clear which I'm going for.

I've been wanting an 18 myself but can't get myself to pay the price. I think I'll get a Victorinox hardwood huntsman instead.

Those are  :drool: . I have an Evowood 18, and paid $15-20 less than I'd seen them around. Got lucky, it was ordered by a local store that I deal with, but the person it was ordered for decided not to take it. The owner immediately thought of me, gave me a nice break on it. It is a SWEET knife, but I'm a bit hesitant to carry it on a regular basis. How do the scales hold up to EDC?  :think:

I have an EVO Wood and it seems to wear pretty well. The wood darkens with age due to oils in your hands.

I always wondered what the EvoWood knives would look like after some carry/use.  None of mine have seen any time outside of their box.
