Just curious, the bail doesn’t seem to be touching the scales... used some washers?

Made some skeletonized 93mm scales.  This one is a rancher x.

My first prototype of a scale drawer 84mm voyageur.  The drawer isnt long enough to fit the pen, but there is room for more than just T&T I think.  If it was my sak Id put needle and thread, safety pin, tweezer and fero rod.  :D

I'm happy with how it turned out but the shorter 84 makes anything past 2 layers look fat to me.  A cadet x with drawer I think woudk look too thick.

Yes I'm making more.  The drawer works just fine.  Even with the added thickness of the drawer scale this is still thinner than a standard 91mm compact by a few mm.

This Yeoman is even nicer in person.  You do awesome work.

It is going to be a loved pocket companion for many years to come.

I had an order from someone who was willing to pay extra for me to make a custom spring for the blade layer of a 91 to elimiate backtools. So I did.  :D  Took one day and about 7 tries.  When I had the style complete I did the same bronze insert trick for the pivot ends as I did on the 84mm spring.

This is the first dual scale timascus Ive done as well.  The tool config is close to what Vic called a Special Mechanic.

Beautiful and nicely done.  There is. Something to be said for the clean look of no back tools.

Mega 84mm drawer scale.  I burned a solid day to Machine this and it took two custom fixtures.

:pok:

No I think its been ordered to keep emergency medications in.   I did buy a mini bic but even that was too large to fit in a 91mm sak, it could however fit a 111mm.

If you were going that deep - You would think they would have asked for it on a 91mm - To also get the extra length !
