4sevens prices???

Ok, guys, what am I missing here? I checked the new site, foursevens.com and saw this

Quark AA² Tactical, R5 Edition = $82.00

All i can say is that's a high price for a possibly green/blue tinted light & a slight failure rate on the Quark line of lights. I can see this guy going down the drain within a year or two IMO. He does have a huge groupie following though. I won't buy his products as there are many other choices out there besides him.

I've nothing against 4sevens, but I'm not sure that many folks are going to be paying substantially more for them than a Fenix.

i was thinking the same thing. i stick with Fenix myself. there lights are great and at a good price.

Didn't they get bought out by fenix outfitters?, Maybe they raised prices, don't think these decisions are in the hands of the original owner.

I bought off the old site and am glad I did.  Customer service, low prices and free shipping drew me in.  The receipt on my credit card receipt reads fenixstorecom. 

I'm glad I purchased when I did because I rolled over to the new site and was really surprised at the price change.  It would have been a deal breaker.

Unless I am wrong David sold the Fenix store to someone in Oklahoma. I think David still owns & runs the 4Seven line of lights.

Yes. I assume he did that to concentrate on his own 4Sevens brand.

I've contacted 4sevens about it and they said they'd fix it.

the new site is listed as a parked domain and is blocked by my employer's web filters.

I wonder if they are still getting the site ready and the prices aren't "real" yet.

I think 4sevens thinks he is catering to the elite and they are going to pay his prices for the brand name. Not me. Too many other good lights out there that are cheaper.
