The Skinth JB (Juice Box)
on: January 27, 2012, 01:48:47 AM
It's so tiny and cute!!!

Again, someone pointed out a need and I answer the call.

I present, the Skinth JB (Juice Box) a sheath for some who may call the most pocketable and most capable tool, the Leatherman Juice Series.

On this prototype, dressed in Coyote Brown, can hold a Fisher Space Pen, and if put into production, will be able to hold a AAA flashlight. This one is a little tight.

A Juice S2 and simliar single layer Juices allow for a little spare room inside the Juice Box, a AAA flashlight fits great.

The Skinth JB next to one of it's bigger brothers, The Skinth FR

In photo, my very own precious Juice Pro.

now....who wants one :)

$35 shipped! Horizontal straps add $5.

I was curious and I shoved a Wave in the Juice Box...to my surprise, it fits VERY well.

I'll look through the designs and do just that, but take a look at my Snickers thread and see what you think about using the accessory straps on them  :) http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,34952.0.html

SKINTH JB CLIPS!
Reply #11 on: January 28, 2012, 03:10:06 AM
ok, I dove in headfirst and bought a wholesale lot of robust, black nickel plated belt clips. Accommodating, ideally a 2" belt.

Here's another Skinth JB I made showcasing it.

and the glorious clip, I am still perfecting how to mount it on the body, this seems OK, but there are easier ways. It's VERY secure both on the body of the skinth and on the belt.

My Juice Pro, which I am liking more and more.

Not sure if this is the best set up, but an Embassy Pen fits too.

A wave fits in here tool, but a little snug.

and a Skeletool CX is much the same, only less snug.

It rides nice and low and best of all, I can take it off. Again, the Embassy Pen would work nicely if this was any other size Skinth, the Skinth JB is a little short.

I think I am going to offer the KungFu Black Belt Clip for an additional $8 on any Skinth.

Enjoy!

This is for a EDCF Member.

As an active duty police officer, he wanted something to carry his Juice S2, a Fenix LD15 and an extra AA battery. This is the smallest Skinth I've ever made, the velcro flap was such a pain to make, sooo small. Also boxing out the bottom of the flashlight tube was quite the adventure too.

I want to introduce the Skinth JB Active Duty Edition.

It's mini, barely 4" in length, and maybe .75 thick.

Skinth Juice Box SUPER LUX Edition!
Reply #13 on: January 31, 2012, 12:30:41 AM
I tried something crazy, I basically took all the premium stuff that would cost $$ and shoe horned it into the Juice Box.

so...PentaPocket, Black Clip, HK Key clip...i even managed to attach the clip in away that is clean but strong, as a result, there was room for a pair of mini shears from County Comm.

At first, I thought, what that hell am I going to do with mini scissors...now I know...a photograph worth making!

This one is enki_ck's! SUPERLUX!

because I cut the fabric in the back and not add a piece of webbing like I normally do, there was a pocket/channel created behind the clip...and perfect for a pair of Maratac mini shears, which I think are going into my soccer bag FAK.

Its a little cozy in there, but somehow it fits.

The PentaPocket at this scale is almost useless unless it's for super slim items, like a 3" pry bar and Derma Safe Razor.

The load out...pretty amazing. If I had made the main body about .5" bigger, I could of fit a flat whistle or something else in the flat pocket.

I love it!

I'm lost for words.

Now the sweet game of wait begins and I can start thinking what will go in which pocket. The quick detach clip is perfect for me cause I often go in places where knives and multis are not allowed. You really outdid yourself on this one.

Thank you very much.
