Good little bits of kit they are, one of my friends has one and its pretty easy to use and quite feature packed. Seems to be well made too, the only thing that has gone wrong is the charger he bought for it which shorted itself out, not sure if it was a Sansdisk charger or what though.

I'm looking more for a voice recorder than an mp3 player at the moment, but given the cost of dedicated voice recorders it makes sense to get an mp3 combo unit.

Does it work well enough in that capacity?

By the way, I can get it for about $60- does that seem reasonable?  They are going for about $150 everywhere else.

I went ahead and ordered it- seemed like too good a price to pass up.  I should have it in a few days.

I have a 2Gb Sansa mp3 player, and a Sandisk USB drive.  They are both excellent products.  I wouldn't hesitate to buy anything else from them.

Well it's here and I have to say that I really like it.  The controls aren't as intuitive as they could be, but it seems to do everything I wanted it to do and more, so I've got no complaints... yet.

I'll be testing it out in a few different environments, specifically crowded and noisy places to see how well the voice recorder works since that's likely where I'll be using it.

One nice thing about it is I can take very tiny pictures with me, and microscopic videos too! :P  I think I'll stick with the PPC for tiny videos, but it's nice to have the slideshow feature on this device.

I knew it was tiny, but I never expected it to be this tiny!  Pictures and descriptions online don't do it justice!
