Maybe not that crazy...but it reminded me of this thread.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Rare-Victorinox-Master-Craftsman-Small-84mm-Swiss-Army-Knife-Victoria/184204539960

And what’s with the overpriced ‘60s Woodsmans lately?

And if I remember correctly, it was previously listed at $299.

Maybe the seller feels it is only a scale swap away from being worth that much?  :dunno:

If you bum around evil bay long enough you will find almost anything at super high prices. SAK's are no exception. If they think someone will pay way over the top, then they try to get it. Unless you are a desperate collector, pass. I saw a Wenger Giant for get this -- $9999.00 !! 10 K ... Sorry no sale.
The early bird may get the worm, but it is second mouse which gets the CHEESE !!

The only easy day was yesterday.

I thought we had  a similar thread for multi-tools as well, but can't find it, if it even exists, so I'll just post this bargain here.

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/LEATHERMAN-REBAR-COYOTE-STAINLESS-STEEL-MULTITOOL-NYLON-SHEATH-BRAND-NEW/112531145091?hash=item1a33610183:g:I5kAAOSwbn1duQJd

And another one.

That's hilarious

And aren't they one of the major Aussie MT suppliers - Wonder how many customers they'll get for this bargain

PS. I think any eBay crazies can get posted here - Even though the thread was originally started for SAKs !!

The seller must have given them a fake price in order not to sell them (out of stock for example). It's one of the easiest ways to make an item sort of unavailable.
At least that was the explanation when I once asked about a ridiculously expensive SAK.

$102 for a Tekna Security Card knife @ Arizona Custom Knives.

https://www.arizonacustomknives.com/catalog/product/view/id/420109/s/420109/category/3/

From the Tekna website direct it is $21.95. If this ain't crazy, I don't know what is. And the ACK example is USED!  From what I'm seeing on the secondary market (been looking for one of the dagger dive knives), Teknas are not worth much.

Keep in mind, I might have a little evil scheme figured out. Buy them from Tekna at $22, sell them to ACK for $52, and make $30.  >:D

This guy is trying to sell a BSB marked multitool for at least € 200.
BSB = Brigade Speciale Beveiliging = Brigade Special Security, which is a special Dutch Military Police unit.
The printing on the multi-tool reads "Vigilans et Fortis". This is the motto of the BSB.

This seller however 'sold' the multi-tool to several people, and then with each buyer he withdrew from the sale by saying that he just received a higher bid and he was going to sell it to this higher bidder. In the end he hasn't sold it, but instead now the bidding starts at € 200.

I don't wish him good luck with his sales, because of his unlikable way of doing business.
But maybe one of you guys is willing to buy the tool.

If that is the one I saw earlier it is only a cheap copy of a SOG ToolClip, so not worth even 10% of what the seller is asking.  Even it was a genuine ToolClip it would still only be worth a fraction of what they are asking for.

Given the sneaky behaviour of the seller hopefully no one will offer them anywhere near their asking price.

New 2020 damascus for 1000 Euro.  I know they are popular but not that popular, yet

There are more available on eBay , within the EU for nearly half that price, and they are also in shops, so I doubt anybody will buy it for that much

Today I bought the last in the Netherlands on-line available specimen. Seems they are rather hard to find by now.

A little bit crazy... € 379... for a knife -although beautiful- that's never going to cut anything.

I was looking at getting a Morakniv 546, noticed they have a really nice 2020 edition color (yellow). It can be found in some places for under CAD$30 (basic model is about CAD$15).

US $5,999.00  !!!! is serious money.  Is that even vaguely in the ball park, or just a prime example of a greedy seller looking for a sucker ?  I have no idea of the realistic value of these.
