Surefire & lanyard
on: January 23, 2008, 09:13:19 PM
Hi all

I'm not into big torches, rather the smaller ones.  However if you go small then carrying them is also an issue.

I made this small lanyard that does two tasks:

1.  When the loop is not connected to the torch it can be clipped to your person

2.  When the loop is attached to the torch its just the right size to put you middle finger through when gripping the torch.

Does anyone else have the same problems and solutions for torch carrying..??

Thanks
deano

Nifty little job, but do you find that the light gets "lost" in a gear bag or pocket? I love my G2 and the G2L but I am thinking of trying a smaller surefire and that worries me. :ahhh

Hi

Thats a good point... I do not carry this in my bags, I usually carry this in the map pocket of my jackets or on a belt clip that goes into my cargo pants.

Thanks
