Vic Soldier without a date stamp?
on: February 13, 2012, 05:04:13 AM
Can anyone explains this?  I have never heard of a Soldier without a date stamp.  Guy says he opened the blister pack to check date, looks legit.

It's a normal run of the mill vic soldier. Swiss army no longer issues the alox models to their troops, they get a 111mm vic now so no stamping on the blade is needed anymore.

Have a couple myself NIB. Not that rare at all.
I know someone who had a Soldier back from a repair.
It came back with a standard blade and no date stamp as well.
