I think the black head looks good on the silver. Matches the locks.
And as unuseable as that black plier head is for EDC use, it still looks cool!

I'm glad to see someones getting some use out of them...it was an impuse buy on ebay years ago while I was looking for my first multi to EDC.
Funny.People seem to say for the Vic Swisstool "It'll never let me down, ever!"but for any Gerber Multi, it's a "Oh, so far so good... "It seems doubt of quality is ingrained into even EDCers of the Gerber range - even if they have yet to experience a fault themselves.Do you have much use for the Military model, (crimpers and spike), or does it just make a good talking point.
vs supertool?

I've mentioned a few times how Gerbers are underrated. I think a few people have come to dislike them a bit more nowadays as the new range is all being made abroad and it isn't the same quality as these tools. Whats your opinion of them Nomad?

I haven't taken any of the tools out and put them in other Gerbers yet, might be worth trying to see what it looks like with the silver Gerber with the black plier head and black tools.
