Where do you keep your tools?  I wrote an article for SOSAKOnline some time ago about keeping SAKs and it works well for multitools too.  I have most of my tools kept in a small parts drawer thing, and I was wondering how everyone else stored theirs?

Well, first of all:  Def, that is an awesome looking tackle box of fun.
Secondly, I only have 5 multis and 2 decent knives so storage isn't really a concern yet but those are kept on my computer desk, when not on me, for me to admire  :)

Thanks- the tackle box is pretty famous in SOSAK... I have some of my Vic and Wenger multis in there too, but this is how most of my tools are stored.

I need something like that. Right now mine are just lying around my work bench downstairs. (except for whatever I'm carrying that day.)

Living in an apartment I don;t have a work bench, and my wife hates having my tools lying around.  They are pretty handy and the small drawers handle almost every sized tool- smaller ones can even be stored in their sheaths.  Larger models, or models with bulkier sheaths have to go in the bigger drawers down on the bottom though.  I notice that the parts bins are on sale again this week at Canadian Tire.  They usually aren't more than $15-20 and you can wall mount them too.
I also like the fact that the drawers are transparent so you can see what's in them if you are looking for something in particular.  Or, if you prefer they could be labelled pretty easily, but since I often re-organize them to include more and more tools I don't do that.

Most of my knives are on display thruout the house, but the multis are in my nightstand drawer.  It works well for me because I keep most of my EDC stuff on the nightstand, and when I'm getting dressed I can just open the drawer and grab one to carry.

All of my stuff is in small storage drawers and all of them are in a wicker cabinet, in my wifes mind, out of site out of mind.

I keep mine in a drawer in the bottom of the gun safe. The one I have has enough space for enough ammo to have won Little Big Horn, but I don;t keep near that much around the house
