That is one SAK I still drool over.  I'll likely never find one, but man would it be a good day if I did.

Yes it's a very nice one. It's not mine by the way, got the pic from SAKWiki.

Very nice indeed.  :salute:
I've known someone for a while now who may part with one if the offer was very good.
I just would not know what value to put on it?
Would be very interesting to see how much interest it got if one came up for auction.  :ahhh

The last one I saw go at auction went for almost $150 USD.

So if it has a rounded shield and it is alox, it must be a soldier?

Ha ha... with SAKs you can never say "never", and can never say "always".  :D

... you already saw "Black Beauty" I would say technically that is not a Soldier as never issued to the army.  However; it's best categorized as a Soldier variant.

I picked up a new Wenger 93mm without date with Microsoft/Dell advertising etched on the main blade.  That would not have happened while it really was Standard-Issue, I think that knife was strickly off the promos list in the past.

I still don't have a coppper VSAKCS, and with the recent pricing I may never have, but it sure is a looker.
