Help me fill my "murse"
on: February 28, 2012, 09:20:37 AM
It looks like, due to multiple reasons (medical and other) that I'm going to have to start carrying a bag with me most, if not all of, the time.   I've already got a MaxPed Remora Gearslinger that I'm going to use (although my wife is upset that we won't be going "murse" shopping together :P

Aside from the meds I need to take, a multi, and a flashlight, what else should I put in there?  I'm looking for neat ideas of EDC type stuff to put in the bag.  Any and all appreciated :D

Contractor bag, folded up at the bottom, in a freezer bag- trust me, I learned this my first winter with my Malaga. I'm still annoyed that Maxped can't get the idea of sand/snow vents over the drainage grommets.

+1 for a waterproof liner of some sort in the bottom. That was one of the reasons I sold off both my maxpedition bags.

I guess mall ninjas don't put their maxpud gear down, or encounter sand or snow, so the demand to make changes isn't there. The claim is it's "hard use gear"...

Just scanned the above, so may be repeating these ideas...

I always have hand sanitiser, a small fold-up shopping bag and a rubbish bag :)
