New Wenger EvoGrip and RangerGrip Scales
on: March 02, 2012, 01:29:08 AM
Looks like Wenger has made a change in the way they produce the EvoGrip scales.

The new Blackout series that feature the EvoGrip, don't have the rubber inserts like the previous generation, but appear to have a more rubberized textured surface applied top the cellidor scales.  Maybe a cross between the Softtouch technology and the EvoGrip technology.

I hope I'm not dreaming, but they appear different than any of my previous EvoGrip scales.

The scales also appear slightly slimmer... but it this case it might just be the sliming affect of black... :)

I suspect some reason like this is behind the change.
