Look what I found on Switzerland
on: March 06, 2012, 12:48:34 PM
Just came back from my 20 days vacation trip to France and Switzerland. Thanks for all the information that I got on the other topic!

Really liked those countries, and Switzerland is the place to go if you really like those knifes, you can buy it anywhere.  :ahhh

Bought 20 knifes, will take some good pictures and send later, but this one took my attention. Found on the "vitrine" of a reseller. Asked for it and the lady gave me a regular Workchamp XL from a box, but then I showed her why I wanted the one on the vitrine, it was the only one that had the small gutting blade instead of the regular tool. She had no problems with that and I got this beauty to my collection. Too bad she did not have the original box, to check if it had a different code.

Unusual..  :tu:
So, does it still have the screwdriver/bottle opener in some other position or not?

It has the same tools, everything the same, except by that tool. It does have, like the regular model, the combo tool, but it does not have the regular bottle opener tool.

Much cheaper than in Brazil, where I live,
about the same that it is in USA, but store prices, not internet...maybe a little higher, about 10 or 20%.

I remember once seeing a Victorinox Swisstool for over R$400... and that was when the brazilian Real was worth more than the US dollar ten years ago... buts its ok... they can parcel it in 3 easy payments over 3 months
