I've got a couple of those Light my Fire sporks, one blue and one green.  I keep one in my lunch box for work, and one in my camping gear :D

sorry for necroposting but this is such a nice thread. SPORKS!!!! such amazing things. The latest one i got might qualify as a multitool. It's proven its worth time and again. It's an American Kami Apocalypspork

According to the maker...

Forged out of 6AL4V medical grade titianum, handcrafted by a real human being on handmade dies, right in the good ol' USA. And all Ti is sourced from USA made military and aerospace scrap, so they're green, too!

Berry compliant.

Available variants are spork, fork, or spoon, in fullsize or stubby.

9.3" long from tip to tines and 0.071"-0.073" thick. (Stubbies are 6.85" long)

Won't rust or corrode.

Non-magnetic.

Hypoallergenic.

Poor conductor of heat, so excellent for cooking and fire poking. No more burnt fingers!

Stonewash over torch anodization for good looks, slick mouth feel, and ease of cleaning. All corners, points, and edges nicely smoothed over, for comfort and TSA compliance.

Bottle opener/pot lid lifting hook.

Oxygen bottle key/small 'biner hole.

MSR shaker stove takedown key.

.25" emergency hex driver key.

Fluid capacity at tines is 1/3 more than the Snowpeak spork.

Extra long handle for getting food out of those extra deep cans/MRE pouches.

Cheers,
Gabriel

Welcome to the spork club, boss.  :tu:

See some sporks here that were not see over in the Spork Off post.  :pok:   It's all good. Been contemplating getting the longer Snow Peak titanium spork. Have been using my short titanium and the Light My Fire regular a lot lately. Haven't used the large one that LMF sent yet with the replacement.

Filed off the ridges on the smaller one. Did not care for them when using the forked end.  :D

I have a LMF "Spork" but I have just upgraded to this http://www.seatosummit.com.au/products-page/outdoor/delta-spoon-spork/, looks a bit sturdier.

I've not seen them before, I think that does look to be a nice design. :tu:

Maybe they're just Downunder?
I do like a lot of their stuff; I already have the Delta plate, bowl and mug (among other things).

The Sea To Summit Spork is slightly bigger than the Light My Fire one...

... and a lot stronger...

Relevant XKCD:

The Leatherman crunch.  One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass consumption. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

I've had a pair of orange LMF sporks. Used to take one when I traveled for business back in 2009. One of the middle tines broke off, creating something that resembled the Shocker. Then the other middle tine snapped off, and then it looked like it was throwing up the horns. I threw it away after I got a more stationary job. The second one broke after a year to mild use. I think I picked them both up at REI or Wally World.

I replaced them with the Ti version, which to this day sees constant use. The serrations on the fork aren't as obnoxious as the ones on the plastic version, either. I also have the Sea to Summit one, which more resembles a traditional spork. Both are very lightweight, and the StS one has a lanyard hole. I still prefer the LMF, though.

Here's a few of my sporks/snack time tools. Not shown are my TAD Gear folding titanium spork, a couple of the scout type fold-out spoon/fork/knife/can/bottle opener jobs, plastic LMF, and missing in action titanium Brunton and Vargo sporks that I can't remember where I stashed the buggers.  :P
