Handles on the stainless finish ones were changed too (obviously). I wish there was a way to know when they actually made the change

Just some crappy cell phone pictures for now since my camera is toast. Some pictures of the tool and the sheath.

The picture of the plier head isn't great because of the angle and lighting but there is no logo on either side of the plier head.

Yep, its definitely different than before. (2005 version shown below) I wonder when they changed it?

Seems odd they would update the branding on the side of the tool in the pictures, but not the the actual parts of the tools themselves to reflect current production

yes, i do not want to speculate, models with newer type pliers may come from repare with old plier head,

however this with not updating the pictures is a problem in catalogues long back, this is why it is so difficult to date Officiers knives or eco from catalogues since the functions have been changed and pictures not....

Now that my OCD has kicked in on this, I'll have to keep picking away at it until I find an exact date :D

Hi

Lol,.. by the way i posted this on the Spirit some time ago:
The Victorinox Emblem (cross and shield) was removed from the pliers head in 2010. The product images on our website have not been updated yet.

basially it shows that until 2010 cross and shield emblem is on, then from 2010 an interim model without emblem on plier, finally also from 2010 a change on the emblem on handle. The logo is over Victorinox and not besides, hope this makes sence?
