I really like those alox colored models!
on: March 29, 2012, 05:27:33 PM
Some aloxes from my collection,

actually those are my favorite ones...I don't have all the models and all the colors, sometimes it is hard to get those special ones, specially when I need it to be sent to Brazil. (and sometimes brazilian mail(Correios) keep some of my beauties, not common, but already happened a few times).

Many thanks to Jan, Tim and Martin for always helping me!

I wish that the next collectors series could have some different tones of blue,

the 3rd picture have pioneers, farmers, electricians and harvesters, woodmans, etc... but all are from the pioneers series, just special collectors series ordered from some collectors for Victorinox, usually in series of 50 or 100 knifes.

if you want any special model or color, talk with Tim(search the web for felivet), normally he has some extra ones to sell for good prices. :tool:

and my alox collection is not complete, some members of the forum have many others that I don't, like Jan, Chako, nsa-x-files, etc...  :pok:

I always like to see the pictures of their collection, help me find out which ones I don't have, and that I am not the only crazy one that spends so much $$$ in those beauties. :ahhh  :climber:

Nice alox collection.
These days I know it's not easy anymore to start a alox collection.
I was also lucky to start just in time 2 years ago at the time that
the first limited ones came out.
Now days they are more expensive and hard to find, also the vintage
ones are more expensive to because more people like to collect alox since
there are more alox variants limited made just for collectors.
It's a challenge to find the ones you don't have but there are always ones
you never can get.

That certainly is a sweet collection of colored alox you have there. And, at today's prices, quite valuable, too! If I owned a beautiful collection like that I would probably keep it locked up in a safe. Like another poster commented, it's like looking at trays of beautiful gems n' jewels. Thanks for sharing the pics!

Thanks for these pictures btw, I was on the fence about the dark brown pioneer because of the lack of good pics of it. Yours gives a great look at the actual color.

I just grabbed one from felinevet, my first alox!

Stunning collection mate  .

I LOVE the green ones  8) 8) 8) , a South African GREEN SOLO would be brilliant , they are just a bit too pricey for me though  :(
