Corkscrew as pen holder
on: March 30, 2012, 02:58:45 AM
I'm a big fan of the Vic pen. I don't really need a pen enough to warrant carrying an actual one around all the time. But when I need a pen it's something that's pretty hard to improvise. So having one tucked discreetly into the plus scales of whatever Vic I'm carrying has been extremely convenient for me on a number of occasions.

It's pretty common knowledge that you can slide the pen underneath the Hook tool on a Vic and it greatly aids in the writing process. The only problem with this is that none of my EDC Saks have a hook but all of them have a corkscrew. So what I discovered is this.

Place the pen into the slot behind the opened corkscrew like this:

Close down the corkscrew and the pen top sits right against the first turn of the corkscrew:

Not ideal but works pretty well.

u can also put under the multi-purpose hook, make the pen shorter and write easier too. I do how ever wish the 91mm pen are like the 58mm one retractable and the longer handle make it easier to hold too.
