April Donation Prize

It's the moment you've all been waiting for - the announcement of the April prize! As I promised, it is REALLY great!

How's that for cool? It's a TiNi SOG Pocket Power Plier!

I had to wait until the second of April to post this because no one would believe we were giving away something this awesome!

It was donated to the forum by one of our members- a very generous member indeed!

The usual rules apply- if we reach our goal we'll pick a winner from the folks who donated $10 or more to the forum through the Treasury.

Each $10 you donate puts your name into the draw, so you have two chances for $20, three chances for $30 and so on.

Also, you must list your name on your donation- anonymous donations can't be entered for obvious reasons.

I'm sure you will all join me in a HUGE thanks to the member who donated this excellent prize, and to all who have donated in the past and who will donate to the forum in the future.

I'll tell you what- if we hit the goal by the 15th I'll add a second prize pack. It'll be something else of course, but at the end of the month we'll draw two names, one gets the SOG and the other gets the next prize. How's that?

Well....

On the one hand it doubles your chances of winning something, assuming of course that the number of entrants doesn't increase too significantly from other months.

On the other hand, the increased odds of winning, coupled with the absolute coolness of the SOG means that there is likely to be an increase in entrants, so we'll need to see how many people enter before one could make that assessment.

If the SOG is the first prize awarded, then no. Having a "consolation prize" doesn't decrease your chances to win the SOG. It does, however, decrease you odds of winning the consolation prize.
