I'd hate to say what it is and take a chance on it falling through... but if it works out it will be tres cool!Def
Let's just say it will become a great Multitool.org heirloom!Def
This was a bit of a surprise- I wasn't expecting to meet "the Man" himself at the show, but lo and behold there he was!Naturally, we had to get a picture!
Neat! Did you ask him what tool he was carrying?
Bet it was a SwissTool X Dtrain
That's really cool Def. Something to hold on to forever. What did he think of the multitool.org scales?
Tim told us he was honored that we would go to such great lengths to customize one of his tools. Being familiar with the difficulties of manufacturing, he of course realized the challanges of reverse-dimensioning the new scales, machining them from solid aluminum, anodizing, and laser etching the logo. We had originally requested that he autograph the tool directly on the green scales, but Tim felt that this might result in chipping or damaging the anodize layer. It was his suggestion to autograph the blade instead, which of course came out fine. (lets face it, the man does know his multitools!) Smiley
This awful, I really feel like I'm missing out by not being there Cry
