a long shot but.....
on: April 11, 2012, 03:40:23 AM
i would like to see if anyone can help me track down my first multi. it was a closed wrench tool. the head was kinda triangular and would pivot so the adjustment wheel could be used as a hammer head. in the handle was bit storage. the end of the handle had a 1/4 bit drive. it came with a nylon belt sheath that also held a few 1/4 drive sockets. wasn't the greatest or most expensive tool ever, nut i would like to find one again (you never forget your first lol) i know this isnt much to go on, but who knows, maybe this will ring a bell with someone.

I can't say as I know that one, but I'm certain that if you are going to find info about it anywhere, it'll be here.

Good luck!

the wrench worked well if you have enough clearance to reach the nut or bolt. the tool is huge :D the hammer was the most used tool for me. also found a lot of uses for the socket set. it feels like it weighs about 37 pounds on your belt though

I suggest you start by saving a search on Ebay for dura pro and have it send you an email when a match is found. there are only a few listings by that brand so you will not get too many irrelevant emails.
I think they were originally sold at target.
I wore it on my belt a little. Enough that I cut the excess plastic off the sockets so I could slip a thin sak in the pouch also.
Bob or chako may know more.

Here is a little more info. The wrench fits 8-19mm or 5/16-3/4. The handle has 4 screwdriver bits, 1 socket adapter, and 1 bit extender. Bits can be inserted horizontally or vertically. the pouch holds 9 sae sockets from 3/16-1/2.

I could be wrong but when I got this thing about 12-13 years ago I think it was before plier based multis were so common. I seem to recal many strange multis then. A year after I got mine my buddy traded his fixed plier tool for a gerber. Now I don't see many real oddball multis like this one.

I know I should be used to it by now, but the amount of multitool knowledge accumulated on this forum still amazes me.

Good one, Scrappy
