On the scales, the one on the right is karasu- Raven. It's one of two kanji that I know by heart. Not sure what the additional two stroke item is with it on the blade.

My books say the one on the wasp is bee, hachi, aparently it is a shared kanji between wasps, bees and hornets. I also have a translation of drone from a couple of websites.

On the blade I'm not sure what the middle set is- one is bug or insect, which goes with the bee but I don't know the second character

The smaller ones between the kanji are probably phonetic spellings, but stopped trying to learn hiragana years ago. I'd need to have someone who I can work with for those to stick in my brain, I can't do phoenetics from a book.

The pair that is rightmost on the blade, those I have no clue.

Interesting find!  The price makes it something I may never own, but I will watch ebay.
