I thought this might be appreciated here too:

Thanks for sharing that.  Like I said in your review thread, the Evo16 has replaced the Super Tinker in my pocket as well, for a lot of the reasons you mentioned.  They're both great knives, I just like the Wenger a bit better.  The Evogrip S18 and the S557 see their share of pocket time as well. :tu:

Nifty little knife!  And a great review too!

Then my job here is done. >:D  Seriously, the wrench IS awesome.  It's the perfect size for bolts and nuts on the paint shaker panels at work, and they need to be removed and cleaned regularly.  The inline Phillips is locking, too.  The little pliers see a fair bit of action, which you wouldn't think, but they have their uses.  I like them better than the Vic pliers.  It really is a great SAK.

Is it really?  I thought it was just a stiff stop.  I'm another huge fan of the S557.  Just wish it had a Vic style can opener, and a heavier duty corkscrew.

Another vote for the universal wrench.  Really handy.

It is, you can feel it if you open the driver all the way and press against a hard surface.  Unless mine is broken, of course. :)  It's listed as a locking implement on Wenger's website.  Vic inline drivers, such as that on the Explorer, are very stiffly held in place, but don't lock.

I never noticed since I never use it, just took a look at my toolchest plus and it's indeed locking like the bottle opener.

That's a very nice clear review of the knives.

The In-Line Phillips is auto/pressure locking as well on many models, I don't know if it is on all of them.  We don't have any information on the Wenger Inline-Phillips on the Wiki, need to fix that up.  I'm keeping an EvoWood s557 handy these days, so when I need small pliers I can try the Wenger and the Vic if needed to get a better idea which I prefer and might work better in different situations. I like that Wenger pliers are thinner, I really wish Vic had pliers about 1/2 as thick and then they would work well in Alox.
