They are getting along great. Daisy is great for him and he's great for her. They play together and look after eachother and they have only been together a couple of weeks now. Given a bit more time and a bit more bonding, not to mention Eddie getting trained and maturing a bit and you won't be able to seperate them.

He's a Mongrel (mutt), but very intelligent. There isn't much planned breeding here so most of the dogs are like him...

My Good Lady and my Mob

Left to right, Charlie Pup, Daisy Dog and Pip Pup. Charlie is the youngest at 4, then Daisy at 7 and Pip at 14. All ages are approximate as they are all rescue dogs. I can't imagine being without them, they are fun, loving and loyal plus they make good feet warmers on a cold night.

This is the only photo I have of all 3 of them together facing ( well nearly facing) the camera in 3 ½ years.

Poor Daisy came home from sledding tonight with bloody pads so out came the doggie repair kit. A few minutes later, some Polysporin, gauze and a bandage and she's good to go again! After a few minutes of digging at it I think she's decided the bandage is a good thing. She had two other bloody paws, but neither of them were very bad.

Yeah, she's a big girl and it doesn't take much for her to rip something open. She's also tough as nails so you don't know she's hurt until she comes in the house and you see bloody footy prints all over the place.

A few years ago she tore up the pads on the bottom of her front paws and I had to carry her home. It was only a few hundred yards, but that is a marathon when you are carrying about 120 pounds of dog.

Still, she's not as bad as my old dog Pete. Nothing could hurt him- not getting run over, not getting stabbed, not rolling down a flight of stairs in his sleep. While many things never hurt him, they often caused a lot of blood to come out of him!
