How is Milo doing mate?

His back leg is fine, but he's hurt his front leg now.

I had him back to the vet on Saturday because he launched himself off the couch to run to my mum when she came in the door and snagged a claw or something in his blanket, which flipped him hard onto the floor. He picked himself up after yelping a few times and held his front paw up and wouldn't bear weight on it. The vet says nothing is broken but he's pulled something in his shoulder and he also split a claw, which the vet has sorted. So he's on the same medication again for a few more days and is limping around the house again. 

It looked quite acrobatic, just a shame he didn't nail the landing

Yeah, she didn't get to stay there. :D  It's the speed at which she managed to look like she's been there for hours that amazes me. ::)  I'd turned around to prep up some patches on my pull-though to clean the barrel, maybe 30 seconds work?  Turned back and there she was.  :rofl:

Well, we’ve decided to move forward, since our dog passed a few years back and took a big hit on the family, we’re going to wipe the slate clean and look into getting another! We’ve talked to a few who are selling dogs but we’re probably going to just adopt one from the pound since our last dog we saved from being put down and our cat was found in a basement, so we’ll see..

Well, it’s here! Meet “Bella”, the newest part of the family, we adopted her from the shelter, she’s a mix, we think boxer / Pitbull terrier / and possibly mastiff, her previous owners were a little abusive and even tried cropping her tail, but she was taken care of by the shelter, and now she’s here! I must say she fits right in, a little goofy and even made herself right at home, our little furball(cat) is a little hesitant but hasn’t had any problems.. normally we’re not ones for pits but that face is just so cute, and after hearing of what happened we couldn’t resist.. :D


As for the ferrets, someone actually adopted them, we got tired of having to clean their cage so much and kinda felt bad for them letting them only have the one room unlike back at the apartment where we let them roam about! It was really hard on the wife but she wanted a better life for them!


We made the right choice with the ferrets and with Bella! And, we are all very excited!
