Made a little something for Bella, I kinda screwed up and I think I made the bed not sink down far enough, but when we get some nice weather I want to take it out and run the router over all the edges and paint it, of course gotta put a name on it too..

That’s cute, hi Tom, our cats the same way, after our dog passed it was as if it was his duty to take over, he even started things that the dog did, very weird..

But we got Bella her own blanket today because she seems to like them, and the Mrs threw it in her bed as we were going to bed, she was waiting for me to turn the light off and get in bed like, come on I need sleep and your keeping me up..

So....I have a 75 gallon Oceanic aquarium I've had since 1993. Bought with my first paycheck, 178 bucks. Oceanic back then had lifetime guarantee on their tanks against leakage and so far so good. Thing is super heavy with 1/2 inch glass and top bracing.  After my red devil i bought as a fry in 2004 died late last year it has sat devoid of any aquatic life. All systems still running , just no fish. I have it against the back wall in the kitchen area as it takes up 6 feet of space. Wife wants a peaceful community tank, no large character ridden cichlids i'm so fond of.

I'm thinking Angel fish (freshwater) maybe some rams and danios. They have really realistic amazon sword plants so the Angels don't destroy any live plants. May do a small catfish variety just for fun. Water here from the tap is 7.9 ph which I'd have to soften just a bit and get it to 0-14 dH. Probably take me a month to cycle the water currently in tank and adjust it to a scalare friendly environment.

I really miss just basic 99 cent convicts black striped. May set up a 20 gallon in my back computer room as watching them dig rocks and be full on belligerent is great.

Poor Bonnie the dog was tearing round a field with her bezzy Susa when disaster struck - A claw got ripped off on a particularly sharp turn. Immediate 'Lurcher cry of death' and my daughter had to carry our 20 kg dog across the field and down to our local vets. One claw pull and an attempt on the vets life later and Bonnie the dog is bandaged up and asleep on the sofa at home, dreaming of rabbits and deer.
