Hello I am really get more and more into whittling and woodcarving.
I already have done some project using the small blade on a spartan, and also have a harvester coming next week hopefully.
I really want to try modding the smallblade since i realize it more and more that the shape is not the ideal, but i have never found a proper guide, for the moment i only have a metal file and sandgrit paper and sharpeners, is it possible that i do my mod with these tools?
And how will the same idea apply to the harvester?
Any previous related topics ? or links someone might have?
(sorry to bother you but i am really inexperienced in this kind of stuff and I want to avoid desroying my blades)

Thanks in advance!!

I made a Wharncliffe from a pruner blade on this one,

Just groung a straight line while keeping it cool so as not to ruin the heat treat and resharpened with a diamond stone. It has a wire stripper notch too but not required.
