My submission to the no-life club
on: April 24, 2012, 08:08:05 PM
Well the milestone is looming so I thought I would spend these last posts showing you people what you've done to me. I found MTO shortly after I purchased what I consider my first real multi. That multi is an LM SURGE. I still carry and use it everyday at work. Shortly after some time spent here I happened across my now good friend Metropolicity. He led me to a great purchase of a wooden machinist tool chest. This chest is my mobile man cave now full of goodies I've acquired with you're/Eric's/Travis/ebays help. Join me now as I walk you through the drawers which occupy so much of my attention/money!

Bottom drawer, has become home to paracord. A few botched attempts and many bundles with many plans for future projects. I've made key fobs, lanyards and bracelets for lots of friends and family members. I've had to use my bracelet to repair a blown lace on the ski hill before so they really are useful. Many thanks to stormdrane and his genius blogging! Also those penny cutters are the best scissors I've ever had so far.

Okay these drawers are some bits and bobs and my flashlights. Nothing too fancy except for the Surefire Saint Minimus on the left. Two maglights and a streamlight stylus. I have the bit set solely for multi/knife tweaking.

I LOVE the wear on your lights.  Those are well used/not abused tools.  :tu:

This was once empty drawers with a Surge in one. I think you'll recognize most items here. Ive been trying to shape my collection to cover all the bases of small medium and large. I have the ST300 and Surge, Charge TTi, and Style CS for LM. A powerlock and a crosscut for SOG, Two Spirits and a classic for Vic and then lastly the Octane and Dime for Gerber. I figure a PPP, a Freehand and of course a Swisstool and I can consider myself well rounded.

I don't have many SAK's but have the ones I really want. The Wenger Shredder and the Alox electrician get lots of use.

Knives seem to come and go with so many options to choose from. I have yet to find my "go to" knife other than the E55Bx I half destroyed some time ago.

I suppose this can conclude my poorly written walk-through. I hope this is enough evidence of what some might call no-life status. :jedi:  To commemorate my ascension I am gifting myself a charter membership to give back to the place that has given to me so much.
