My thoughts after using the 7 and 7/10
Well I just gave these two tools a good work out and I think they did very well.
The first thing I did with them today was drive a 1.5 inch sheet rock screw into some 3/4 inch plywood
The 7/10 handled the job well it was able to drive the screw all the way in without to much effort. It did slip once on me but I think it was user error more than the tool.
The little 7 got the screw about half way in before it was to much effort with the little tool . Thats when I took this pic.
I wanted to give the wrench functions a good work out so the rusty bolts on my fence where next. My gate was not shutting right after being slammed shut way to many times.
I used full sized tools to losen and tighten the bolts and the 7 and 7/10 to take them off and on.
They both worked very well on the different sizes I tried- no metric-
I used both hands and lossen this one with the 7/10 it withstood my abuse I really got on it as hard as I could no tool damage
The 7/10 again on a smaller bolt this one was tough to turn and it worked well no slippage.
One more 7/10 pic removing a rusty flat head the lanyard hole could be a little farther back but it works.
I did have a few little nuts I could tighten with the 7
Overall I'm happy with the 7 and 7/10 they have a lot of function for there small size and seem to handel my abuse well.
Final thoughts
Overall it's very well built and functional, I like the phillips and flat bit built into the tool. The phillips head does get in the way in tight spots though, I like all the wrench sizes but I feel I will never use the very small ones and that space could have been used to give the wrench a little more bit. The 7 is to small to be a practical tool for me. I do plan on using it but not in my edc I'm going to use it in my dress setup the. I am going to and have been edcing the 7/10 and think it does it's job well as a back up to my multitool.
Two cool little tool's
