One of the common uses I have for my Leatherman ST200 is cutting off the steel banding around raw materials--in this case, a chunk of 8" diameter steel bar.  What I do is snip each side of the 3/4" wide steel banding with the cutters and then grab the band with the pliers and break the weakened band free.  Works great.

Used my surge and rev to bend a metal roller assembly. Didnt fit good enough for the spring to fasten. Used the rev to make room for the surge plier head. Teamwork makes the dream work

I used my newly modified right handed opening serrated blade on my P4 to open up my mail containing two more ST200s.   :woohoo:

I needed to install some press fit bushings this morning.  I used my ST200's awl to break up some dry ice to freeze the bushings, and then used the pliers to remove it from the dry ice and also to hold the cold bushing in place while I pressed it in the bore.

last night, I gave my Surge a work out...well I got the workout but surge was holding up good.

A shaft for a chain curve was tangled up with plastic strapping...so I pull out the BO Surge. first used the serrated blade. Did pretty well. It was 2-3in thick of it so it was no picnic. Tried the saw. Also did decent. got tired of sawing away, so pulled out the pliers. I put all my weight into pulling the cutting up pieces (250+lbs) and the Surge held on tight!

Needless to say, I didnt get it all cleared out (limited access, barely enough for the pliers) but had a good time.

My work week has started!

On the label printer stacker (horizontal) the chute going up and placing the label was stuttering a bit. Took sides off, one which has belts, pulleys and electrical parts in the way.

Used my Rev to take out about 15 screws. Phillips was perfectly length and head size.
