I used the LM 55Bx driver to reverse a door knob and the Leatherman Free P2 to install a new carbon monoxide/fire alarm combo unit at a friends house. The awl on the P2 Made a perfect size pilot hole in the Sheetrock for the wall anchor for the fire alarm.

Finished pulling carpet and tack strips yesterday.

Really wish the Surge has spring loaded pliers; that's my only real criticism. Otherwise, the Surge rocks!  >:D

The Surge did not pull up the tack strips as those needed a hammer and wonder bar, but it did pull up all the staples ( approx 100?)

Huge ball of used masking tape  :)

Also used to cut weed eater line, but didn't take a pic of that  ::)

I kind of wish all LM pliers were spring loaded. I’m not sure I am fully clear on the technical limitations or personal downsides that exist, but if I have a choice I always opt for spring loaded.

I feel the same. Before obtaining the Surge a few months ago, I carried a Sidekick for several years and really enjoyed the spring loaded pliers. For this reason, i had a difficult time deciding between the Surge and the OHT.

The last few days, I've had an idea of an OHT with only four outside tools, but they would be full-size and Surge quality.

+Surge scissors
+Surge T-Shank blade adapter
+Full length screw driver bit adapter
+And a new full length prybar/scraper with wire and cable strippers.

It would be blade less, but I figure if you want a blade, one could modify a saw blade into knife.

I used a Leatherman Free T4 to remove staples from a package.

Nice usages guys!  :like:

The SideClip with tool adapter was used to put up some extra hooks in my garden shed. Haven't used the adapter in a while, it really does make a nice combination like this.

I changed the akku for a PSP, used the old pcb and soldered another akku from something else. Used the scissor to cut cables and other electronic related stuff so i can charge and use the new akku.
It works by the way.

I adjusted a door closing piston using the large slotted screwdriver blade on a Leatherman Free P4.

The Surge rewired a new 4 flat connector for my trailer lights and opened a bottle of hard root beer. It also provided moral support while mowing the lawn this morning.  :tu:
