Nice use, Frenchephaistos!  :tu:

Used the Surge pliers to untie a couple of tight knots, then used the large flat driver to change out blades on my jigsaw.

I bought a couple of oak spirals to try to fancy up some cheaper bourbon. They wouldnt fit any of my bottles  so I finally put em in a mason jar.

I used a Leatherman Free P2 to attach a receptacle to the end of an extension cord.

Taking a break from full-sized multitools as sort of a pallet cleanser before the Rebar challenge next month, so only the Micra in my pocket at the moment.
CNC router uses a misting system to cool the bits and lubricate the cut, and changing the settings on the mister is a multiple times a day task.
Today the Micras flat driver got to do the job

Today I was tracking oilfield pipe at my company's fabrication shop. Each piece of pipe has a stainless steel tag identifying it, but the painters cover the tags with Gorilla tape before the pipes go through the paint shop (they can't use masking tape, which would be easier to peel off, because it wouldn't survive the sandblasting process). I had to peel the tape off so I could read and record the tag numbers.

Gorilla tape is serious stuff to try to peel off of a flat, smooth metal surface. The adhesive seems to be stronger than the tape itself, because the tape often rips before the adhesive gives way. Pliers are essential for getting a good grip on the tape.

I started out using my Curl, since I had it with me (on my belt). After peeling about 40 tags, thought, it was getting uncomfortable from the squeezing force required, so I went and got my Wave+ from my car to finish the job.

Would a SOG MT with compound leverage from the gears for the pliers be even better ?

Maybe, if it gives a mechanical advantage in squeezing force.

Maybe, if it gives a mechanical advantage in squeezing force.

They do, but at the cost of increased handle splay which could be an issue if gripping larger diameter objects (which shouldn't be a problem if you are only gripping thin labels).

Used the PST II to unpackage the spiral cut ham (no photo) and to open the honey that is used in making the glaze:

:multi: Surge removed the scales on my ESEE 3HM for a modification that didn't work out, assembled a couple of implements for my air compressor, and used the pliers to removed the gasket on my tumbler for cleaning.
Only took one pic

Tightened light switch and plug plates using the medium flat driver, used pliers to loosen a wall lamp shade nut, used the phillips to tighten the screw that holds the mop head, and the PE blade to open the new tool and sheath parcel... jobs well  done today. :tu:

Nice, and congrats on the new Signal!

My Squirt has gotten a lot of "use" lately. What started of as a joke towards my fiancée actually made it stay there the whole season.
