Wishing you all a happy weekend   :hatsoff:

I've repaired a door bolt latch thingy today with the ST300 doing most of it. Looks like it wasn't installed very well in the first place. And while the door warped over time the stress on it grew. So it moved and bend out of position and the slim sheet of wood cracked. Maybe something else happened too here

Pliers were used to bend it into form again and to assure all is back in place...

Some wood had to be removed to make it sit flush in...

Now I needed an idea how to improve the stability of it because gluing the wood back on and using new screws would not be enough I thought. Luckily I found a spot at the latch where I could pass a screw through without blocking the mechanism. Holes were drilled and a suitable screw found...

Glued the wood back together...

Screwed it all in...

And it works....   :woohoo:
It's rock solid now!

What a great repair, McStichy. That turned out very well. You should get your Boy Scout Home Repairs Merit Badge for that one.

I used my Wave+ phillip screwdriver to install 2 screws on my wooden door frame so I can hang a pull-up bar. Stay strong brothers 💪

Moving time! I wasn’t a member here, nor did I really ever think about documenting my uses, when we moved into this condo (or when I split time and moved between here and my work apartment). Now that we’re moving out, I’m reminded of all the things I used my Wave kit to setup as I’m using it to tear down.

Full setup while we move, but only used the Wave so far today on the furniture.

We put together a number of pieces from IKEA, and most had to have a tip kit installed. An example here is this 7ft tall book shelf I dismantled.

Tools used: pliers to pull the pins on 2 kits as well as some stubborn pegs and throughout, LM and 711L ratchet drivers with P2 and 4mm bits on the tip kit and bookshelf screws, LM PZ1 and 4mm slotted on book shelf screws, serrated blade to cut the bubble wrap.

Bonus holster shot. Best LM sheath in my opinion for the pliers-thru slot.

We just bought a log cabin home in a wooded area in New England.   I have been using the Rebar and Surge a lot, among other "real" tools more suitable as needed.

Most recently tore up living room and hallway carpet.  We will be laying ceramic or planking.  Had to get all those big staples out, and those little copper/bronze narrow, long staples.  Rebar and Lady Beagle used her Wave

Sometimes I remember to document the work… like today. Had to redo a baby gate as the baby figured out how to push the bottom out enough. Got some use out of the Wave and ratchet and my Electrician awl to resize mounting plate holes for larger drywall screws.  Also got to use the Volty Switch to check for wiring before installing a fire alarm mounting plate.

I needed a "third hand tool" to steady my lighted magnifer, to perform a nib inspection and tune up. Its 2100 hrs here and no shops are open or noises allowed that might bother neighbors so, what to do?; get the Surge, ratcheting driver, small holesaw, and a scrap piece of PVC board and... presto!

Edit- the Surge's saw cut the board, the file deburred the edges, the awl removed the plug from the holesaw, and the bit driver ... well ... took care of the ratcheting one!

Switched some screws for longer ones to secure the bathroom door hinge at my Mum’s house.

This should keep it in place until I can get up again and do a proper job.

Found some suitable replacements in one of the jars of odds and ends in the garage, souvenirs from my Dad’s forty years of never throwing away anything that might come in handy.

I’m going to mix things up here… did not use my Leatherman today, except the bottle opener.

This is important because we went to a Labor Day party. Usually there’s a kids toy that needs fixing, or some other random thing like a can opened or loose cabinet screw, maybe even just cutting some skewers for marshmallows.  Not today, zilch.  We all know had I not brought it, the world would’ve ended.

My trusty Wave helped put our crib together....92 more days from today! Didn't end up needing the bit kit but did use the blade and standard screwdriver.

No action shots but I used my Rebar to disassemble a broken UPS.  The Rebar removed screws, cut wires, and large flat screwdriver help pry the dead batteries out of the unit.  I love the Rebar, I used to be a die hard Wave fan but the pinchy pliers just took the enjoyment of the tool away.  The Rebar is my favorite Leatherman by far.   :multi:

Slicing up a memory foam dog bed to fit into the wheelie bin this morning.

He’s an old boy now and has the occasional “accident “, and there’s no easy way to wash these foam pads.

The Free P2 blade cut through it effortlessly to the depth of the blade, of course.

Changed tires for my car yesterday. I had a 2 ton jack to lift the car. There is a small knob that you are supposed to twist with the end of the lever arm to descent the car. With the lever arm it's at least challenging to control the descent and I've had previosly one close call with the car dropping too fast. As I remembered the incident I also remembered the pliers on my Curl on my belt and used them instead. I got great and slow control this way and changed the tires safely!
