Maybe a new mower is a more cost-effective option?

It is. We have another older mower that runs fine but just needs new tires. Now that the JD is giving me more trouble I’ll have to prioritize the tires.  More work for the multi tools!

I used the scissors on surge to cut a circle around some thick heat shrink tube which I put onto a steel rod's edge. The small tip of scissor together with the robust/firmness of the scissors pivot makes it perfect to do the job. Better than a pair of pointy scissors with weak pivot or a big pair of scissors with blunt tips.

The rod is used as a tool for doing myofascial/trigger point release (roll that thing on muscle with pressure). The heat shrink tube was to cover the edge of the rod.

No photos unfortunately, I seldom remember to take them to be fair.

Used the Phillips to open up some power supply boxes before I grabbed my tool bag and used the needle nose to put some bends in copper conductors before I terminated them

I used my Leatherman and the ratchet to fix the shift actuator on the washing machine again. It was only tipping the machine back, two screws and a wire connector but knowing I didn't have to get back up for tools was nice. Thanks to whirpool for keeping me competent at home repairs every so many months. I bought two parts this time around so there is no wait next time

I am making a new rectifier mounting plate for my motorcycle and even though I have prob 15 various pairs of pliers in my tool box I used my P4 to pull off the aluminum melt around the edges where I ground it. Solid grip! Also used the file on a small edge that I didn’t feel like getting my dremel out for. Worked great; def earning its spot already

Got wheel back. Had two broken spokes, and removed one good spoke for measurement. Ordered spokes. Found a shop to replace and true the wheel. Was down 2 weeks. As I was installing the NuVinci n380 had noticed the drive cog was loose. Removed the workings, found the clip came off, used Garage 5's fixed flathead to get the ring back on, then snugged it in around the outer edges.

Then found out I had to reset the rotating controller. Took longer to look up the instructions than it was to get that aligned, and did the OverDrive option. G#5 was there to help get the wheel back in and the chain up and over the cog.

Did employ the use of a very old cycling tool since it was handy, and I misplaced a crescent wrench.

It's a pro. I've only had it for like 2 years. It's definitely seen some use before me tho.

The only Juice I presently own is a Pro. I like it a lot, but being long out of production, it doesn't see much carry time.

This one was missing a spring on the small flathead side when I got it. I found a beat up cs4 and broke it down so now I have extra springs and tools if the pro breaks.

Made this a while ago but I still want to share  :D My mini DIY project - a portable guitar amp
Not having much experiment with soldering stuff so I struggled and learned a bit after this project. Plus this is my first 3D print as well. Used the Wave+ to help cut and strip some wires, and the file to do some rough work on the case before finishing with finer sandpaper  :multi:
If anyone interested in the schematic of this amp, it's called Ruby model by runoffgroove.com

A colleague of mine lost a screw at a hinge between a len and a temple of his glasses. Handed him the Wave+ pliers so that he can put a straightened metal paperclip through the screw hole and bend the ends a bit to make the clip stayed in place. Used the cutters to cut the excess. Not a permanent solution but it should be fine until he can get another replacement screw. :D

Cutting pvc sheets to cover books for my daughter for her new school year with the surge scissors,  using the gap between tiles on floor as guide.

Used the plier of bond to disconnect two connectors of my Hypervolt massage gun.

The screws are PH1 and a bit deep,  didn't use the one in LM.

The thing heats up quite a bit at where the piston motion is (where a part rubs against a tube of the body). Disassembled to get to know where to lubricate. Will service it when I get hold of some lithium grease.

I also used a Leatherman can opener today, but it was the one in my Surge.  I know, I know.  :worthless:
Happy to report that it functioned flawlessly.

I needed two of them to open an Imodium pack. Not sure how people are supposed to do those without pliers or scissors, actually.
I have a few screws loose, but that's why I keep 19 screwdrivers on my person at all times.

Having tiny cactus thorns stuck to my finger.s I don't have tweezers around and it's too small to grab with pliers. However I was able to grab the tiny thorns between the Wave+ blade and my opposite hand's thumb nail.  :multi:

I fought with some heat-sealed packaging using the awl and serrated blade on the Surge today. I sincerely hope there’s a special place in hell for whoever designed that stuff where they just have to try to open it with their bare hands for eternity.

Decided to play with the Signal a little today.  The saw get a bigger twig into smaller pieces to fit my little stove, the blade feathered some fat wood and twigs, and I even used the ferro rod to start light the fire.

:like: and I'm curious as to how well the ferro rod works. I have a small one from Wazoo Survival gear, and I had a tough time getting it to spark. It's bigger than the one that comes with the Signal...
