Used the OHT to make a funnel to put oil in my son's truck after doing an oil change, cut tags off of some clothes, and cut open a box.  Not a bad day!

I did several oil changes today (of course), but didn't need to make a funnel. However, I did use the ST300's wire cutters to chop the end of a zip tie after I broke a prop rod clip.

Funnels are cheap. I got a couple of them at Meijer for less than $10. Even better, they're American-made!

Leatherman saved the day today with putting up Christmas decorations at the Church.  Used those wonderful wire cutters to cut retaining wire and also some non functional light strands.  Unfortunately no action pictures

Had to change the batteries on my little one's steering wheel and driving controls toy and the Free T2 worked perfectly. That thing continues to really grow on me.

Well, I had to get out a tool with bit driver capabilities so out came the Signal!  Tightened the loose Allen head bolts on my kitchen chair.  Afterwards, I did the trick with the inner cords from a section of 550 cord so the bit shouldn't fall out at an angle.

I noticed that my keyboard pedal been not bouncing well after being pressed. Turned out that was because a screw at one side got lost. I couldn't find any replacement screw at home right now so I cut a small piece of plastic from a Qtip with my Wave+ to hold the pedal in place (hence the white stick sticking out). Until the new replacement screws be shipped here then  :tu:

After texts from my step-daughter at 2:30am asking if I’d got a ring cutter, I’ve just been up to get a ring off her swollen finger.

No luck with ice, cold water, oil, or loops of ribbon, so it came down to the Raptor to cut it off.

No action photo, but a very easy cut. Only problem was getting the cutter between the ring and her finger without pain.

Arc and Mini Tool not required, as the ring was thin enough to pull open by hand once it was cut.

That's says it all Crunchie.  Exactly the kind of emergency situation the Raptor was designed for and it came through.

Certainly did.

Not easy to get the cutter jaw into position, and I guess 95% of the time they’re being used on swollen fingers.

I suppose a thinner bottom jaw would be too likely to break.

You definitely should!

I’ve got one in the car that also gets used for gardening and dirty jobs, and another that I carry when I’m at work, mainly just for emergencies.

There’s one in my wife’s car (a Raptor Response), and I also bought her one of the limited edition coloured Rescues that lives in the house for craft and domestic use.

I’d really recommend the Raptor to anyone.

It's great finally seeing that screwdriver being used.  Most of the time I never use it, going with the larger straight edge for what I get in to.

Well that plastic cover needed something just that size to convince it to open.  :D

However, it's true that I would have never guessed that would be the first tool I ever use on it for a challenge. My bet would have been, in order, the knife, the pliers, or the Philips.
The medium flat SD won for some reason.

Yeah, Barry.  That puny pasta parcel never knew what hit it.  Finally got a little wind-blown snowflakes yestiddy.  Not enough to make anything white, but still it was snow.
I put out some snax for the furbearers and got the usual flock of raccoons.  I noticed one video where the two raccoons were eating, when both of them looked up and took to their heels.  One thing a varmint learns, when it is time to run don't waste time thinking about it.  I wondered what they were running from?  Next video showed why.  Red fox.  I'm not sure why they ran from it.  Nerves, I suppose.  A red fox isn't really capable of beating up on an adult raccoon, I don't think.  Maybe caution is the best thing anyway.  Best wishes. Gary
