Colored Vic Farmers rare?

Hi fellow MT'rs,
Well, with my school finals nearly over I thought I would reward myself for having a great semester. I've been carrying a Cadet for several years now and love the alox scales. This summer I plan on doing a lot of outdoor activities and thought the Farmer would be a perfect companion. So, I'm on the hunt for a colored Vic Farmer. After a brief search, I came up empty. My question is, how scarce are the colored Farmers? If they are rare, how much should I expect to pay for one? I use all my knives so I'm not looking for a collectors piece.

Anyone have one laying around that they don't need?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Some are limited editions are very pricey to get hold of. As a general rule, any non-standard colour Alox is going to hurt your wallet!

I have a purple farmer that cost me $180

and an orange that was $135

Blue is the most common of the rare if that makes any sense.

OMG, that's insane! Unfortunately, you've confirmed my fear that they fetch a very high premium. I guess it's good to hear that the blue (my favorite) is the easiest to find but it's still out of my budget. If the cheapest is over twice the price of a new silver one, I'm afraid that ends my dream of owning one.

Get a sliver one.

Same quality, same functions at less than half the price.

You can add a lanyard to add a little color.
