Question about the quality of the Surge
on:
July 24, 2024, 07:00:43 PM
Hello!
Colleagues, please tell me: a colleague has a Surge, a new one, with nodules on the pliers. Is this the norm with Tim's modern instruments? Or is this a defective product?
I don't know myself. The newest thing I have from Leatherman is a "blast" and it’s beautiful, so I couldn’t definitely answer the question

I think anybody who has seen a video of the Leatherman factory has seen the automated finishing machine for the pliers. All the pliers on what tools I have are polished. This one looks like an unfinished casting or something. Of course, I don't have any new Leatherman tools either. Best wishes. G

I think Tim not being a factor is what is the problem these days
As long as it doesn't affect function it should be fine but as expensive as they are these days I would send it back for either a replacement or a refund if they aren't happy
