Oh, all the beautiful pictures! Bristol looks really cool.
When the town center looks like it did 200 years ago, I love places like Tewkesbury!  :dd:
I don't get around much at the moment, so I enjoy it all the more that you take us with you a little.

In front of my workplace this evening, many reasons to be happy:
1. only 25 °C - that's so pleasantly cool after the last few days
2. A bit of rain - luckily for nature.
3. My new flashlight has arrived (Olight S2R Baton II Lava)
4. My weekend starts right now with these dark chocolate balls.

If you want to be happy, be.

I'll try and split these up a bit... Going back, firstly, to Milan in April.

Skip to June and we had Rimini via Bologna, with a day trip to San Marino - because it'd be silly not to do a new country when it's so close to you! San Marino was also where I'm able to keep the SAK and Multitool link alive...

The knives and tools as promised... A shame I was on hand luggage only. :(

A few days later I was off again, visiting Amsterdam with a day out to Almelo, as it's twinned with my hometown of Preston.

I don't know how this one ended up yellow, but it seems to work...

And still in July, bringing us up to date, Toulouse and Carcassonne.

I loved this reflection from a stained glass window onto the floor...

Beautiful pics overdose...  :ahhh

Awesome pics of such beautiful historical places, love it  :tu:.

That stained glass window reflection is very nice, I'm always on the lookout for that one pic that's just a little bit more special as the rest of them myself 😉.

Thanks for sharing your pics (and your trip) here mate .

Stay safe :salute:.

Was in Perpignan in the South of France over the weekend, via Barcelona. Even got a couple of Multitool photos in there thanks to the Undercover Carry challenge...

I *think* that's the last trip for a while!

Cheers all, it's been good to share some varied shots away from home for the first time in a while.

The reflection photo came out better than I was expecting!

Hi guys! sorry for my absence I was on vacation with my family and we decided to do digital detox and go offline. It's been very good for us and one lesson I've learned is to never consume free news again. I subscribed to a good newspaper, plus the news on the car radio, that's it!

@ Michael:

You really should have taken the knives at that souvenir stand in San Marino. Such high end stuff is hard to find in the rest of Europe...  ;)

Carcasonne is impressive and very beautiful. I love such places!

You travel a lot, thank you for the many, many great photos and for taking us with you.  :hatsoff:

Family picnic this Sunday at one of hundreds of barbecue areas in the forests around Winterthur. And also tested a few fixed blades for woodworking.

Yeah, it will be difficult to find knives of such great quality again for a while. :D

But cheers mate. It's been good to finally start getting out of the UK again. Always thinking about where to go next...

I was in Istria with my family this summer. love this place.
This time I only took a few photos , most of them under water and of poor quality,
but simply with the smartphone in a plastic bag... I'm surprised that it works.

Thank you guys!

This morning a driver crashed into my company car from behind. Luckily no one was injured. My vehicle will probably be repaired, the other car doesn't look so good, the insurance company will decide. I hope I don't get any more whiplash, so far I'm fine, only the shock is still in my bones.

Tomorrow my son and I want to go to the mountains for three days. I'll be offline then but hopefully I'll come back with some good photos.

Guys: stay safe

Yes, this crash was a bad experience.

Thank you and yes the trip was really good!  :D

The junior was definitely better equipped with his Huntsman
