Sweet pic edap617, I can always count on you to get some real public pics in here as well  ;).

Now don't you guys stop posting those scenery pics because of what I just said, I like each and every pic that's posted here, just the fact that someone takes the time to take a pic and post it in this humble topic, that's already awesome in my book.

Thank you guys, stay safe .

From last weekend, Coco had a great time and the salt water seems to help her arthritis

Coco seems to enjoy his arthritis treatment  :D.

My apologies for the late reply, real life keeps getting in the way these days, I still have a couple of pics from during the summer I need to post here... ::)

Thanks for sharing your beautiful pics my friend  :salute:.

Freezing cold yesterday, roads covered in ice...

Misses TG-24 wasn't feeling very well and she hates driving on icy roads (she totalled the first car we bought together, years ago, on an icy road, and since then she hates slippery roads...).

So I suggested to drive here to the supermarket and while waiting in the car I took some pics of my Victorinox Inox Titanium, which just got a battery change a couple of days ago.

And here are some daytime pics, right after I had the battery replaced at the local juweler store.

Thanks nakken, it was a lovely day here today but has actually been cold (not real cold like you’re talking about but cold for the middle of an Aussie summer) and wet here until today

We’ve had three La Niña weather systems in a row so really severe flooding last few years, this was after seven years of El Niño which meant drought and fires….I think it’s about to switch back. They used to switch roughly every year but has been crazy recently

I’m not sure if you see any Australian news, but when I say severe floods I’m talking biblical stuff….worth a google for perspective if interested…..this came straight after the fires of summer 2019/20 so just crazy. The fires were hundreds of km long…a land of flood and fire!

I'm surprised by how little coverage this has gotten in our news, but I just found an article about Fitzroy Crossing. Crazy!

Beautiful pics as always John, thanks for sharing them here my friend  :tu:.

I'm sorry to hear about the crazy weather, weirdly enough there was no coverage of it on the news here.

Hope things stabilize a bit.

Greetings from Belgium, stay safe  :salute:.

Well, it's been a while since I've been around... Various life events meant I just got out of the habit of visiting the whole forum. Looking at what I've missed here I need to get back into the habit...

@Michael: Beautiful photos, you have such beautiful, large parks. And the Marker Stone has its plate back. How old might he be?

A very delayed response, but I believe it's from around 1844. It's done well to still be sitting there! There's a lot of work going on down there at the moment, for new flood defences, so I'm hoping it stays as it is.

I've been to both Pakistan for cricket (Islamabad and Rawalpindi) and Antwerp (via Eindhoven, Baarle-Nassau/Hertog and Amsterdam) for football in recent months. No SAKS thanks to travel rules, but I do have some pictures to share when I pick some out to upload. That gives me an excuse to pop back without it being months again, but right now I just wanted to check in. :) Good to see everyone's still here sharing the same beautiful shots. :tu:
