Thanks. Haven't put it on a belt yet. I suspect it might sit a bit higher than I like. But the tool sits snugly enough, due to some elastic webbing in the side walls, and the snap works well.

When I read race marshal my first reaction was to look at the pic to see where the race circuit was ...  :facepalm:

So I went back to the text and saw the runners part ...

TG, it's Greys Hill Fort,an old WW1 coastal defence emplacement overlooking Belfast Lough.I'll try post some more photos later
