Turns out I'm a high-milage white & rusty '91 Geo Prism with trash in the back seat and a failing clutch...

Or at least that's what I'd be if my driveway were a mirror... and it seems pretty acurate some days.

Yeah, I don't see myself as a sports car at all. Maybe an old pick up or station wagon. Maybe a big sedan. Something beat up, ugly but still practical and reliable.

I'm a firm believer that it's not the age, it's the mileage, and my odometer reads TILT these days!

In fact, since I don't think many of the younger readers will understand that, I guess that's living proof!

Me too, but I prefer it stock--think Eleanor is a bit overdone. When I was growing up, my next door neighbor had a '68 GT500 KR convertible. It was sweet.

Elanor is the car from the Nicholas Cage movie "Gone in 60 Seconds" in case anyone was wondering. Frankly I thought what they did to that car (and it's many stand ins) was as big a crime as the pile of destroyed Chargers on the Dukes of Hazzard set.

I hear what you're sayin', but it wasn't quite that bad. Eleanor didn't start out life as a Shelby. If someone made those mods to an original Shelby, I would be PISSED.
