During the winter the knuckles on my hands crack and bleed if I don't hit them with some kind of ointment every few hours. I've found the Burt's Bees burn ointment works best.

Ihave a similar problem with my lips. and I use Blistex medicated for them

I have exactly the same problem with my lips.  They seem to crack as soon as there's any real change in the temperature.  I haven't found anything that really works for me though.

Here's what I carry. Whether I use the sheath or the clip on the wave depends. Also, if I do use the clip, I dont carry the Kershaw. I also may not carry the pens. It depends on what I have to do. I also may carry a pencil. The MAGLITE I dont usually carry, but it looked cool in this picture.

I also may carry a leatherman core (soon-its coming), or a PST or a Charge.

No, its just a regular one. I had a previous one that was converted and although I did like it somewhat, I like the way it came better for some reason.

Here's my kit of late.  I've forgotten the Imco Triplex Super lighter.  :(

My apologies to LM123 for showing the Holy Grail.  ;)

The black and white item is a thumb drive.  There's also a Rambler and a P-38...

What LED flashlight is that and what is its battery?

Thanks.

Yes, it's a Sandisk Cruzer, 4GB.  My keys have worn off the label almost completely.

The flashlight is a Novatac EDC 120P.  It runs on CR123a or RCR123 (rechargeable Li-Ion).  I run it on rechargeables.

Today's duty kit...  or most of it anyway!

S&W M-100 black coated handcuffs

Gerber Infinity Ultra

CRKT Zilla

The multi changes from week to week, and occasionally from night to night, but the bracelets and light are always the same.  Not pictured are my flash drives (I have a 1g and a 2g), Streamlight CuffMate handcuff key with integrated LED light, SOSAKOnline carabiner, www.EDCDepot.com spy capsule with arthritis pill, or my Uncle Mike's glove case with standard latex gloves and puncture/chemical resistant gloves.

Oh yeah, and my stainless Fisher Bullet space pen...

It's possible... I wouldn't be surprised to find out S&W is cranking them out in desert tan at least!

At the SHOT Show this year we noticed that some manufacturers are cranking them out in different colors- blue, green, yellow, pink etc.  I was very disappointed to see this as cuffs are a serious tool, not a fashion accessory.

Because sometimes I get sick of holding down bad guys and it's easier to tie them up! :D

I work as a doorman at a local bar- doormen are more commonly called "bouncers" but basically we are security folks.  I carry cuffs for incidents where people are presenting a danger to themselves or others, and need to be restrained.

I don't EDC them in my personal life, just at work.

I'm more of a Cable-Ties kind of guy when it comes to cuffing.

Not that I'm actively looking for opportunities to make Citizens Arrests.

I was never a big fan of cable ties, or the so called Zip Cuffs, which were fancy one use versions of cable ties, "created for law enforcement use."  They are bulky and uncomfortable to carry, although if I had a cruiser to store crap like that in I might think differently.  Give me a nice set of high carbon cuffs any day!

The easy solution is to just carry a purse.  Don't worry--nobody will mind.   :D

Seriously though--I rarely wear jeans, and if I do, they are carpenter-type jeans with extra pockets.  I wear cargo pants or shorts nearly always.
