Micky, I got this Wenger in the mid 80s and this was my EDC for several years until I got a Supertool in 1998. I don't baby this but I don't abuse it and I take good care of it. Although it has some scratches but it is still in perfect working condition. I still EDC this Wenger to supplement whatever MT I EDC for the day. Please help me identify this.

Here's the pix of all the implements in open position. It got a tweezer on this side of the pic and a toothpick on the other side. Thanks in advance Micky.

Eddie

Spoon, the flashlight in the pic is Mini Palm. Very nice flaslight for its class. Please see link below.

Spoonrobot is that a AJ Russel fruit cutting knife in you EDC? I've been wanting to get one of those for a while now.

Eddie I'll guess and say it's a Backpacker. I have one that I keep in my car console that just like that but with a serrated blade.

Heres my EDC right now.

Yup, it's the AG Russell Fruit Knife.

My Dad has carried a Schrade Fruit/Melon/Sausage (whatever) Tester in his pocket for decades. I honestly think it's the only cutting implement I have ever seen him use.

Having steak for dinner? Out came the Schrade.

Roadtrip? Well, let's stop at a Kroger, get a rotisserie chicken and loaf of bread and slice it up with the Schrade to make sandwiches for all you kids.

Dirty battery terminal? Scrape it off with the Schrade.

 :)

I bought him the AG Russell version for Christmas a few years ago but he couldn't get used to it, so I kept it.

It's a wonderful dress knife since it's very slim and light-no liners. And it cuts so nicely. It's nice to carry such a long/slim blade, it seems so much more useful for certain tasks than the typical wide 3" guy.

How do you like the Streamlight?

Good story. When I was younger my Step-dad always carryed a small Case knife with him. I got him a LM Wave for christmas one year. I have never seen him carry it, but he says he uses it around the house. I guess some people are just stuck in their ways.

I really like it. It's a light I think I would have never considering buying. I won it in the contest from Calvin and it hasn't left my side. I like the tint and quality of the beam.

It looks like an old Wenger camper before they swaped the mini clip point for a nail file ::)

No not really. But the LED drop-in that I put in my 6P Defender is so bright that I can't use it for close things without being blinded. So I am trying out the Streamlight. Yea I it's a micra on my keychain. I have found that since I have been carrying the Skeletool and not the Charge Ti I am using the Micra scissors allot.

It's a good knife, it seems like it has exceptional edge retention because the edge is so long. The backspring on mine is getting a little tired, I may have to root through the basement to find my Dad's box of them and start carrying a newer one.

They do look sharp, them things.

Sleek enough that even the longer blades shouldn't cause a fuss in a crowd.

Yea it is. I got in the contest from Calvin. I'll write a review when I have more time. So far I like it and would recommend it. It's not the brightest light in the world but then it's not meant to be.

During the winter the knuckles on my hands crack and bleed if I don't hit them with some kind of ointment every few hours. I've found the Burt's Bees burn ointment works best.

Ihave a similar problem with my lips. and I use Blistex medicated for them
"Some rise by sin, and some by virtue fall;
Some run from breaks of ice, and answer none:
And some condemned for a fault alone." -William Shakespeare, King Lear (1608), Act IV, scene 6, line 169
