Noonday Sun in your pocket!
on: February 15, 2008, 01:42:33 AM
I just got my Fenix L1P back from NutSAK and I am impressed!

It has a fancy new LED in it (I have no idea what he did to it) and replaced a faulty switch for me.  I was happy with it's function before, but now, well I have to say it's simply amazing.  Many of you know I'm quite pleased with the Gerber Infinity Ultra, but check out this beamshot!

The Gerber is on the right, the Fenix on the left.

Terry also sent me a Fenix L2P body, so I can switch the head and tailcap to it and have a brighter, more powerful light, running off two batteries instead of one.

Thanks man- this is a think of unbridled beauty now! :D

Oh sure, just because I took a pic and talked about it, you think I should include it in the post too!  Sheesh, some people want everything! :P

You really got to love the white LED. I know I canot go back now to any of the old Incandesent bulbs. However i have not yet bought a Fenix. Maybe something else for the list.

If you are impressed with that, try a fenix T1, or P3D Q5.  :D

I was riding with my friend in his vw golf, took out my T1 and shined around on high mode (was night on highway), damn thing seems bright as his headlights!
